Alexander Emelyanenko not so long ago was released, having received a suspended sentence, after serving 2.5 years in prison from the awarded 4.5 years.

Recall that the fighter was sent to prison in 2014 on charges of raping Polina Stepanova, a girl who replaced a cleaning lady in Alexander's apartment. The case is still a lot of unknown, because according to the version of the fighter, the girl filed an application to the police for the purpose of extracting benefits, and that behind this there are some influential people. Having learned that her "offender" is released, Stepanova gave an interview that she plans to leave the country, because she’s afraid of persecution. Lawyer Kakhaber Dolbadze plans to continue to understand this case in order to remove all charges from his client.
