When talking about billionaires, bright images of luxurious life appear before your eyes - huge villas, yachts, helicopters and pools filled with coins. However, not all of the big capital owners fit this stereotype.
Entrepreneur and public figure, philanthropist, one of the creators (together with Paul Allen) and the former largest shareholder of Microsoft, Bill Gates took the first place in the ranking of Forbes for the fourth year in a row. According to data for 2017, his capital was 86 billion dollars.
It turns out that Gates earns about 250 dollars every second. For a day this amount is approximately $ 20 million.
His house, according to eyewitnesses, is stuffed with the most advanced electronics, but otherwise the founder of Microsoft is trying not to stand out from the crowd. Bill Gates doesn’t like expensive clothes and still feels uneasy when he’s in the spotlight. The billionaire isn’t fixated on his huge monetary state and, no matter how surprisingly it sounds, he tries in every possible way to get rid of it. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation spends incredible sums on charity, and Gates himself admits that he can easily part with a large sum of money if he realizes that a person really needs it.
