While Nobel Prizes show how inventive and rational humanity is, Ig Nobel Prizes highlight its absurdity and weirdness. Originally conceived as a parody, over the years it became, probably, even more mass-popular than the original awards. No wonder why – not everyone is into science, but everyone is into laugh.
