British fighters are working really hard in the UFC at the moment and Jimi Manuwa is a great example. Now, №4 ranked, 205- pounder, Manuwa began training in mixed martial arts in 2007 following a weight lifting injury where he ruptured a chest muscle. He currently trains at Keddles Gym with Alan Keddle and Dino Miringou and at Nova Forca BJJ with Ricardo Da Silva. The fight against Corey Anderson, which took place at UFC Fight Night 107 in London became a true highlight in his career.
Just before the fight Jimi Manuwa promised his home fans a knockout, and the Londoner delivered just that with fashion. Regarded as one of the most dangerous strikers in the division, the 37-year-old lived up to his reputation with a devastating left hand just after the third minute and left opponent Corey Anderson out cold. The American wrestler looked desperate for the takedown but Manuwa was prepared, one clean left hook brought a quick end to the main event. To be true, it takes just three minutes five seconds into the first round.
