Extremals play with their lives in order to increase the level of adrenaline in the blood. This natural drug causes hundreds of people to go on a deadly risk, which is not always justified. And some such cases, unfortunately, end sadly.

Perhaps the most famous form of extreme is jumping from a height - with a parachute or other devices. The state of free fall and the emotions that a person experiences at the moment are priceless. However, the event, which occurred in November 2013, shows the danger of such pastime. This video is shot from the first person, so it impresses even more.

Stones fly in all directions/telegraph.co.uk

33-year-old Thayer Healey from Ohio is a big fan of base jumping. Arriving in the city of Moab (Utah), he decided to jump off the cliff and shoot his fall on the video camera, which was attached to the helmet. But something went wrong. At the opening of the parachute, the guy turned his face to the cliff, after which he crashed into a piece of rock sticking out of the crevice. Thayer Healey continued the fall, flew about 50 meters, hit the stones several times more. Eventually he fell unconscious on the ground.

It should be noted that Healy was a fairly experienced jumper: by that time he had already committed more than 200 extreme jumps. Perhaps he didn’t calculate the angle of incidence, or was confused in his own parachute. And, perhaps, all the fault of the treacherous wind.
