The victory over the "old dragon" Wladimir Klitschko for the "young lion" Anthony Joshua became the brightest spot in his career and truly consolidated him as the leader of the royal division. The fact that the British's promotion threw him under tanks only in the third defense of the IBF belt, gives hope that in future Joshua will not be overly protected and soon we’ll see mega-fights with his participation again.
Now the fans of Joshua and just fans of boxing are wondering who’ll become the next opponent for the owner of three championship belts in heavyweight. If only a few years ago there was only Klitschko in the heavyweight, and there was tension in the intriguing fights of the tops, now there are plenty of options for superboys in this category and immediately a scattering of first-class opponents is spreading before Joshua.
1. Tyson Fury
It's hard to imagine what a heavyweight fight today can surpass the hype surrounding the fight between Joshua and Klitschko, which collected the full Wembley Stadium and seems to have beaten the UK record for paid broadcast sales. However, Anthony's fight with his compatriot Tyson Fury could be an even bigger event. Joshua and Fury are united by the fact that they are extremely popular (at least in their homeland) and they defeated Wladimir Klitschko. For sure, Tyson wants to regain the lost titles without a fight and again climb to the top of heavy weight. True, Fury first needs to solve his problems behind the ring, gather strength, recruit combat uniform and return to the big box.
