On April 8, the UFC 210 tournament was held in Buffalo. In the main opposition of the evening, the Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier and challenger Anthony Johnson converged. Cormier won the second round with a stifling takeover.

After the defeat, Johnson announced his retirement from the MMA.

"It's time for me to move on to something else. I'm tired of getting punched by guys and rolling around on the ground with guys and stuff like that. Ain't nothing fun about that.

"I enjoyed you UFC. I will never ever forget you."

However, the main news of the UFC 210 was not the defense of the title and not Johnson's departure. Most of all conversations and disputes caused a strange weighing procedure before the fight.

Recall that Daniel Cormier couldn’t fit at first weight. Standing on the scales, Cormier showed 206.1 pounds (93.4 kg) instead of the 205 (92.9 kg). The title battle could break. Daniel risked losing the championship belt.

However, in accordance with the accepted rules, the fighter has the right to reweigh within 2 hours. Cormier decided to take advantage of this. Literally a few minutes later he returned to the hall and again got on the scales. This time he took off his panties (every hundred grams are very important!) And, holding on to the towel, made weight. Exactly 205 pounds!
